A waste from a generator or a health care related facility as outlined in Section IV, which, if improperly treated, handled, or disposed of may serve to transmit an infectious disease as established by the Arkansas Department of Health.

Pathological Waste, Liquid or semi-liquid blood, Contaminated items, Microbiological waste, contaminated sharps, veterinary waste, trace contaminated chemotherapy waste, splii/clean-up material, and crime scene/accident/trauma clean-up.

Medical waste is to be packaged in a container that can prevent leakage. It shall be stored in a manner and location that protects it from adverse weather conitions and minimizes exporsure to the public with proper signs including the universal biohazard sign. Once the container has been filled and closed, you may not store that container on site for more than thirty (30) days.
